When the side effects of a wildly popular alertness drug cause the working-age population of the world to become murderous psychotics from sleeplessness, a Chicago teen must get his family -- including his sleepless mother -- to a safe haven at his grandfather's retirement community in Arizona, but when a detour goes horribly awry, Grandpa must team up with his fellow retirees and his teen grandson to save the family.
