The APM Short Screenplay Competition creates opportunities for screenwriters around the globe to get their short screenplay PRODUCED, made into a movie and SEEN by audiences and industry professionals all over the world! Our goal is to discover and promote the original works and talents of emerging screenwriters by making their scripts into films that get audiences talking.

To do this we have enlisted the help of industry insiders, award winning directors, producers, professional writers and high-profile actors to read and select.

APM Short Screenplay Competition is not the usual screenwriting competition, but a door to opportunity, as we are now searching for a best short script to produce. To do this we have enlisted the help of industry insiders, award winning directors, producers, professional writers and high-profile actors to read and select.

Writers can submit short film scripts only, a category open to all genres. We are open to receive submissions in the following languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, although if you are making a submission in any other language than English you should also include an English translation of your script as a standard. We will not be able to consider submissions not backed by an English translation.

This competition is opened to SHORT FILM SCRIPTS - Up to 30 pages (between 8-15 is recommended).
