The third edition of the WriteMovies Romance and Comedy Award is now open for submissions!
The pandemic has meant times have been tough over the last few years, and there are lots of people turning to film and TV to help cheer them up. Make the most of that by writing a feel-good script and entering it into our Romance and Comedy Award!
We believe that this is the right time to be writing in these genres. As we pitch all of our winner’s scripts to industry, producers will be on the hunt for the kind of stories that audiences crave – and at the moment, those are the ones that will cheer people up. Take this opportunity to get your work out there and see it transformed from page to screen!
On top of the great prizes on offer, all submissions to our Romance and Comedy Award will also receive feedback on their first 10 pages, plus free and automatic entry to the WriteMovies 2022 Screenwriting Contest, giving them the chance to win the Grand Prize of $3500!
