For 2022, we are so excited to be introducing a dedicated Screenplay Award, with a judging panel of carefully curated industry professionals including film producers actively seeking work to option, and the celebrated actor Paul Michael Glaser of Starsky and Hutch.

The 2022 Page Turner Awards prize fund is over £40K with valuable prizes for authors and writers.

Our successful awards programme has changed the lives and careers of many budding and aspiring writers with high-value support prizes. This is a super exciting opportunity for writers to share their work and potentially be offered life and career-changing opportunities in getting their screenwriting optioned.

Our mission is to change the lives and careers of as many writers as possible by providing high-value support prizes to writers at any stage of their career.

That's getting new unpublished writers discovered, helping published authors get their writing recognized and celebrated, so they can find new reading audiences and giving screenwriters the chance to have their scripts placed in front of film professionals.

Page Turner Awards is different from other writing awards. Beyond the life-changing prizes, Page Turner Awards writers have been most impressed with the scope of support offered to them — a rarity in the world of writing awards, which usually offer little beyond a letter confirming your submission. Page Turner Awards offers so much more than a simple prize, but instead has created a supportive writing community and a “movement” focused on author growth and development.
