• Then you will receive a phone call from your writer-reader to go over your notes and answer any questions you might have regarding them.

Most of our writers launched their careers with genre scripts. So, we love to read genre material!

As our GENRE COMPETITION is relatively new this is a great opportunity for writers to test their material, compete at a more intimate level where you will have a more thorough read as opposed to other competitions where you are competing against thousands and/or use the NOTES SPECIAL to get script notes that will elevate your script in the competition.

Regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or economic background, Page-Turner is focused on finding and supporting great original stories with a strong voice that grips the reader from the first page to the last.

Whether the story you tell is a genre film or an indie pic, a network procedural or an edgy cable drama, a sci-fi or a comedy, we want to find the most compelling, unique, page-turning scripts out there.

We are looking for scripts that we CAN’T put down.

Finally, our readers are all industry insiders.

We will not have students judging you or anyone outside of the entertainment industry. Our Judges and readers come from a variety of backgrounds within the industry that include Writers Guild of America members, Assistants to Agents, Managers and Producers as well as Managers and Producers.

WE BELIEVE that feedback from working writers in the entertainment industry can provide new writers with the most up to date information of how the business really works and the level their writing needs to reach for them to succeed.

We believe that although the price may seem steep, there is great value for the truly aspiring screenwriter. This is an opportunity to receive industry level notes from professional writers in the industry and improve your script and your skills!

Our readers are Writer’s Guild of America members who have pitched, sold and/or written television and features.
