Storyboard TV is an online community of writers, readers, and television watchers that believes in the power of episodic, fictional television to document, enhance, and transform people's lives for the better.

The object of Storyboard's long form script competition is to jump start this community and to empower new writers to start creating scripts for television.

Storyboard TV announces Semifinalists

Storyboard TV, an online community of scriptwriters, television producers, and TV enthusiasts, has announced the ten semifinalists for best script of a television pilot:

DANIEL'S LOT by Samantha Charlip
DREAMWRITERS by Ben Wilson and Matt Schenk
EQUITY by Kris Thom White
FOR PAY by Matt Laughery
GREAT WHITE WAY by Bisanne Masoud and Talia Gonzalez
I HEART NEW YORK by Dee Dee Fay
THE RIPPLE EFFECT by Josh Sorokach
TALKSHOW by Wes Robinson and Caleb Tapp
TEMPLE GATE by Nicole Aukerman and Hank Harris


All ten scripts, as well as their loglines and bios of the authors, can be found at storyboardtv.com. Membership to Storyboard TV is free and open to all, and all members are able to read, critique, and vote for their favorite scripts.

On July 15, Storyboard TV's industry panel will announce three finalists from this list of ten. These scripts will be posted on storyboardtv.com where, during the following month, members of Storyboard TV will be asked to vote for the winner of a $2,000 prize.
