Categories
Objective
Personal coverage and feedback from programmers and readers on your screenplay will be available to every screenplay entrant. Cash prizes are awarded in each of three categories: Best Screenplay, Best Voice of Color Screenplay (written by or about people of color), and Best Northcoast Screenplay (set in or about northern Ohio).

An entry form and and entry fee must accompany each entry. One entry fee puts your screenplays in all the categories to which it qualifies.
Awards

Ohio Independent Film Fest Kicks off Nov. 2nd
Congratulations to the founders of the Ohio Independent Film Festival,
Annetta Marion and Bernadette Gillota who recently received honorable mention
for the Northern Ohio Live Awards of Achievement in the category of Film,
Radio & TV.
They are pleased to announce the 13th Ohio Independent Film Festival &
Market, the ultimate indie film networking event and venue for cutting-edge
short and feature films (many by Ohio filmmakers). The Festival will once
again be hosted at Cleveland Public Theatre, located in one of Cleveland's
most historic neighborhoods at 6415 Detroit Road.
Tickets are $5 per program or $40 for a festival pass (at the door or in
advance at www.ticketweb.com).
The Festival will kick-off at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd with Script
Mill, the OIFF's screenplay reading program sponsored by the Writers Guild of
America East. Script Mill will feature a winner of the Ohio Independent
Screenplay Awards (OISA), also a program of the OIFF with major sponsorship
provided by the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. Winners of the OISA will
be announced at a press conference at 6:30 p.m. on October 20th at Ooh La La
Café located at 408 W. St. Clair Ave.
