Our winners have been signed by Literary Managers as a result of entering our competition!! Now in our ninth season, Write LA's 3 winners get read by multiple Los Angeles bases Literary Managers and considered for representation.
Semifinalists receive other prizes including notebooks and free feedback from our Head Judge - respected Script Coach and author Tim Schildberger.
Write LA was built by writers, for writers. We offer all the industry access we can because we know how hard it is to get your writing in front of the people who can launch your career. Write LA Competition Winner Signs with Management Company
Screenwriter Nathan Dame has signed with management company Fourward based on his success in the Write LA Screenwriting Competition. His comedy pilot, ‘Fraulein Schreiber’s Mixtape’ was selected in a year that saw a record number of entries.
Tim Schildberger, co-founder and Head Judge of the competition, said "We were super excited about Nathan's script. Our mission at Write LA is to identify and support emerging talent so it's a validating feeling when we can help a great writer connect with a great management company." Fourword managger Sean Woods said, "Tim and Angela’s ability to spot talent is proven. Tim has a fantastic eye, and with Angela has built a wonderful platform for writers."
The 2021 Write LA Competition opens for entries April 15th.
