The 2nd Annual 2002 American Gem Short Script Competition
HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA, April 30, 2002 -- Call for submissions, Short Screenwriting competition.
FilmMakers Magazine is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of
The American Gem Short Script Competition.
To promote and support new talent and continue its pledge
of creating opportunities for all new artists in film, FilmMakers.com
will produce the winning script. Ten dollars from every entree will be
donated to The FilmMakers Film Fund.
PRIZES
1st Prize: $500 + 5 percent of the gross (within three years after completion of the film), a Gift Certificate to attend any Action/Cut 2-day intensive Filmmaking Seminar, and Final Draft software.
2nd Prize: Digital Camera + $200 + Final Draft 6.0
3rd Prize: Digital Camera and Final Draft 6.0
4th Prize: $150 and Final Draft 6.0
5th Prize: $100 and Final Draft 6.0
6th Prize: Syd Field Video
7th Prize: Syd Field Video
8th Prize: Syd Field Video
9th Prize: Syd Field Video
10th Prize: Syd Field Video
