John Uth is an active writer and composer in the Chicago area. His original compositions have been performed by local orchestras. His comedy sketches have been performed at the Second City training center in Chicago. He has written two original musical comedies. "Mommy, Will the World End Tonight?" premiered in 2012. "Luigi's Ladies" premiered in 2014 and was included in that year's Chicago Musical Theatre Festival. His short story "Moon Santa Mongo" will be published in the 2019 November/December issue of "Analog Science Fiction and Fact" magazine.
