Lise Pyles has earned semifinal status at Nicholl Fellowship and Austin Film Festival (among other contests). She is one of six screenwriters selected to the Black List/Women In Film Feature Lab -- an experience that included personal work sessions with producer Amy Baer (MARY SHELLY) and Oscar-winning screenwriter Graham Moore (THE IMITATION GAME). She was commissioned to write ten short scripts for the San Antonio Film Commission and has taken on various roles (co-producer/co-writer/script supervisor/AD/location scout) for other features and shorts.

Lise enjoys writing most film genres but especially adaptations, biopics, dramedies, and uplifting stories. All of her scripts pass the Bechdel Test.

When not writing, she co-chairs a screenwriters group and has been a reader or judge for several contests.
