"1993" is a single camera comedy set in early 90's Los Angeles that follows Ramiro - a chubby and precocious eleven year old latinx boy who thinks he is gonna be a child star, despite the starling evidence to the contrary. When his Uncle Paul moves in (who is struggling with the early stages of HIV) Ramiro is flung into a journey of self discovery and crushing brutalities embedded in adolescence.
