The Island Between us
When Evelyn Carter, an American journalist, cancels her flight to avoid meeting her ex-husband on board, she books a last-minute seat on a small private plane with a mysterious Algerian man named Yassin. What begins as a tense and awkward flight turns into a desperate fight for survival after a storm crashes the plane on a remote island near the U.S. coastline. Trapped with no means of contact, the two strangers must rely on each other to endure the wilderness. But what begins as survival slowly evolves into something deeper—complicated by cultural boundaries, personal wounds, and unspoken truths. As Evelyn discovers the gentle man behind Yassin’s cold mask, and Yassin uncovers Evelyn’s broken heart beneath her sarcasm, a bond begins to form. When they’re finally rescued and return to a world full of judgment, doubt, and legal chaos, both must choose: return to who they were—or fight for the love they found between two worlds.
