On the publications front, he's acted as Humor Columnist and a Contributing Editor for a prominent HR journal for over three years, contributed to the inaugural issue of Kiplinger's Success With Your Money, and his comedy writing has been featured in The Washington Post, Wealth Manager, and many other publications.

At Tri-State Bloomberg Radio (WBBR-AM 1130) he wrote and presented a weekly topical humor feature. Dispensing advice as "The Finance Ear," - which had a successful fifteen-month run - with 180 feature airings!

Since 2003, Peter has been doing club stand-up in New York (Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club) and has also taken his act to the West Coast, and most recently to Las Vegas! Over the same time period, he's also been an emcee, lyricist, joke writer and video-shorts executive producer for the New York Financial Writers' Financial Follies, a gala comedy event that began in the 1930s and draws over 1200 New York journalists and public relations professionals annually.

Peter's comedy writing is garnering increasing national attention. He has been named a winner or finalist in more sitcom spec contests than any other writer on the competition circuit. A The Simpsons he wrote, in which Homer becomes a financial planner was for several years the most award-winning sitcom spec - of all time! In addition, as of January 2025 three of the top five most award-winning sitcom spec scripts on WinningScripts.com were written by Peter.
