Karamazov
The three sons of an influential but corrupt businessman struggle to find their place in a world gone mad. Expanded: This series is a bold, contemporary reimagining of Dostoyevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, focusing on the fractured lives of the three Karamazov brothers-Ivan, Ali, and Dmitri-and their turbulent relationship with their larger-than-life father, Fyodor. At its heart, this is a story about corruption-not just in its obvious forms, but as a legacy that seeps into the cracks of family and identity. The Karamazov brothers don't inherit their father's empire of dominance and charisma-they inherit its shadow. And in that shadow, they're forced to wrestle with their deepest desires: to define themselves, to break free from his grip, and to build something of their own in a world still bearing his fingerprints. Like Tony Soprano's lament, "I came too late for that," the brothers live in the aftermath of their father's era-the don, the landowner, the kingpin. They are not those men. They are the ones caught in the wake, grappling with ambition, resentment, and the aching question of whether escape is even possible. This series is an exploration of legacy, rebellion, and the burning desire of a younger generation to forge a path of their own-without becoming the thing they're running from.
