FAUSTIAN

After a string of suspicious celebrity deaths, an obsessed detective must protect a fragile pop starlet and other notable targets of an eccentric stalker who claims to be able to cancel deals with the devil they've unknowingly made.

In the world of fame and fortune, Detective Nick Faustino is on a mission to uncover the truth behind a string of suspicious celebrity deaths. When Shinsuke Nomura, a celebrated violinist, drops dead after performing the famous “Devil’s Trill” Sonata, Nick becomes obsessed with the case.

Nick suspects that each victim had a connection to a mysterious businessman named Magnus Bloom. He also learns about an eccentric stalker named Tobias Whitlock, who seems to have knowledge of damning details about each celebrity. Nick urges bestselling author Horace Ellerby to file a report against Tobias, but little does he know that this will set off a chain of calamity.

As Nick attempts to question Vanessa Munroe, a fragile pop starlet, he thwarts an attack from a masked intruder backstage at her rehearsal. The assailant flees on a bike, causing a pileup that sends other notable targets of Tobias’ obsession, including rock star Evan Astonbury and podcast queen Roxy Regan, to the trauma ward.

Nick notices the eerie synchronicity as he spots each VIP receiving care. He attempts to question race car driver Dario Moncada, but notices Tobias lurking in the hallways. Nick hauls Tobias in for questioning, only to learn that Tobias claims they’ve sold their souls and have entered a trance-like state which makes them forget. Only by putting them into life-or-death situations can he wake them up.

Despite Lt. Hawkins insisting that Nick abandon his investigation and focus on nailing mob boss Carmine Scarchilli, Nick cannot walk away from Vanessa and becomes her de facto bodyguard. As faces from their past resurface, and repressed memories of a satanic ceremony haunt their dreams, the group assembles at Scarchilli’s night club where Nick's partner Devlin, on an undercover assignment, hopes to entice the notorious mobster into a shady crypto scheme.

But when Tobias shows up and blows Devlin's cover, a wild shootout ensues, forcing each of them to face imminent death once more. Fleeting memories rise to the surface amidst the gunfire, forcing them to face up to their Faustian pacts, aligning themselves with Tobias’ plan.

Whisked away to an old church on the edge of town, they must take part in a seance to locate the actual contracts they’ve signed with Satan. Only by stealing the contracts back, and performing an occult ceremony, can the deals be broken, and their souls be saved.

They must put their faith in Tobias, work together as an unlikely crew, and plan a most unusual heist. Using their wits, charisma, and celebrity cache, they must gain access to Magnus Bloom's exclusive art gallery to enter a hidden room where the framed agreements are stored.

Each of their unique skills and complicated pasts will play a part in securing the coveted contracts that can either save their souls or seal their fates. Nick must risk everything to save Vanessa and unite the merry band of A-Listers. With a GOAT Quarterback, a Rock God, and a Pop Princess, they're off to confront the man behind the curtain. But along the way, they'll learn that fame is a double-edged sword and there’s no shortcut to salvation.

From a celebrated concert hall to the fast-paced world of sports and car races, 'FAUSTIAN' weaves together the lives of a violinist, a football player, and a race car driver. As they face their inner demons, they uncover a sinister conspiracy involving soul contracts. With the stakes rising, they must confront their past mistakes and break free from the devil's hold before it's too late.

“I thought that the formatting was good. Your white space was excellent. For the most part, your dialogue is succinct. Great job! Your scenes are tight. You seem to know your stuff on formatting. Your story has uniqueness.

The plunge into the pit was great. Knowing that this was a young man, I immediately suspected murder, like a poisoning.
