To help the environment Shoreline Scripts only accepts electronic entries.
Writers from all countries are welcome to enter the Shoreline Scripts Screenwriting Competition 2012. However all scripts must be in english.
The script must be the writers original work and they own all copyright. At no point will Shoreline Scripts ever have any rights over your work.
All ages are welcome.
Each writer or writing team may not have earned more than £20,000 in writing fees as of the time of this competition. Previous screenwriting cash awards do not count towards this total.
We will not accept any new drafts of a script once it has already been entered.
Any scripts sent after the final deadline will be disqualified.
If a script is optioned or purchased during the competition then that script will no longer become eligible for the awards. The entry fee will not be refunded.
Scripts should be formatted at size 12 Courier.
The script file formats we accept for upload are: .PDF (preferred) Final Draft, MovieMagic, .RTF, .DOC, .TXT
Please ensure your script is as close to the standard 80-120 pages as possible. If you have any questions about the length of your script please email us contact@shorelinescripts.com
We accept all genres.
The winners agree to allow Shoreline Scripts to use their name and script title on the website to inform other contestants of the results.
The decision of the judging panel is final. All judges and sponsors are immune from any competition disputes.
