How did you come up with your story idea?
I came up with the story idea because that is what I do and I wanted the world to see what I do. As an acting teacher, I’ve been transforming people for 20 years. I think it is an amazing when my students can feel their anger and turn their anger into their power.
How long did it take you to write it?
It took us 2 years to get this all together on no budget. We believed in our project so much that people just wanted to be part of it. I believe very much in positive vibrations and using that to create projects.
Is this the first script that you have written?
I have started projects but never completed them. This project seemed like divine intervention. I had a desire and I just went for it with no doubt at all that I couldn't accomplish it and it worked. I love the end result.
Have you entered other screenwriting competitions?
No this is my first screenwriting competition.
If you could write for any TV show, which would it be?
I am now working on a sit com of my own about this show and I want it to be both funny and serious. I would say that it would resemble Girlfriends with a serious content and funny banter.
