MovieBytes Subscriber Premiers New Movie in National Newspaper
The Riddle, a smart twisty thriller starring Vinnie Jones, Derek Jacobi, Vanessa Redgrave and Julie Cox, written and directed by Moviebytes subscriber Brendan Foley will make newspaper and film history on Sunday September 16, 2007 when it becomes the first new movie ever to receive its premiere in a national newspaper.
The UK's Mail on Sunday bought the rights to the film and are giving away up to 2.5 million dvds free with the Sunday paper, supported by TV ads and a poster campaign.
"As the maker of a UK and Irish indie movie with a great cast, this is as good as it gets," says Brendan.
"The Riddle has had great reviews so far, so I hope people will help spread the word and if you're in UK or Ireland that you enjoy the movie on Sunday 16th Sept. "
The Riddle's plot centres on an ambitious journalist, determined to unravel a series of modern murders that follow the discovery of an unpublished Charles Dickens novel in a London pub.
