Author Bio: Jeremy Carr is an award winning screenwriter and film director. His short film "Ice Cream Ants" was the Grand Prize Winner of the Dewar's "Dewey"Award (for screenwriting) presented at the 2007 Boston Underground Film Festival. As part of the prize, he was commissioned to direct a short film for Bacardi, Inc. "Ice Cream Ants" was also awarded Best Short Film honors at the 2007 Evil City Film Festival in New York City. Currently Jeremy is in production on a feature length, psychological drama called "Lucid," which was an official selection of the New York IFP Film Market. Jeremy produced the feature film documentary "The War On Kids," which takes a critical look at the American educational system. He was invited by the First Sundays Film Festival in New York City to guest direct the short film "Nuclear Winter."

Two of Jeremy's short stories, "Emma SRED, The Sleepy Head" and "Another Bad Night in Bensonhurst" have been published in anthologies by Double Dragon Press. He was co-writer of the play "St. Rosita & The Francophone" which premiered at the 1998 New York International Fringe Festival. Jeremy has also worked as a professional script analyst for such companies as Miramax Films, Revolution Studios, and Full Moon Entertainment. As a producer, editor, director and DP he has worked for such clients as Sesame Street, NRDC, AMC and Comedy Central. Jeremy is a 1995 graduate of the film program at Boston University. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
