The Whipping Boy
The fabulously rich Maharajah of Kandahar Province has chosen a small English public school for the education of his ten-year-old son. However, strict religious observance dictates that the royal posterior must not be subjected to the form of physical correction normally meted out in English public schools. To overcome this, an English boy of a similar age but from a poor background is chosen as the Prince's 'whipping boy'. They will be educated together but the whipping boy must bear the punishment for any transgressions committed by the prince.
