ISTANBUL CROSSING

A gay Syrian refugee in Istanbul, while juggling dangerous smuggling operations for both the CIA and Islamic State, falls in love with, and must decide between, two men who offer him very different futures.

In this coming-of-age literary thriller, a young gay Syrian refugee, after watching his cousin executed by ISIS for being homosexual, flees to Istanbul for his safety. He develops such a good reputation for his resourcefulness in smuggling other refugees to Greece that he’s approached by both the CIA and ISIS to smuggle high-profile individuals between Turkey and Greece, putting him in graver danger than he ever imagined. In the process of juggling both operations, he falls in love with, and must decide between, two men who offer him very different futures.
