Synopsis

On the perilous edge of the Andromeda galaxy, the war-scarred crew of the starship Huntsman is dispatched to extract a mysterious crystalline core from a deadly asteroid. When the mission goes catastrophically wrong, Commander Belle Caspari-Minardi—wife of Captain Nico Minardi—is infected by alien spores that invade her mind, triggering visions and a slow, terrifying transformation. As Belle’s condition worsens, Minardi must hold his fractured crew together, navigate political intrigue on Gateway Star Station, and confront the ghosts of his own past. But as the crew races to save Belle, they uncover a cosmic mystery: the crystal is a beacon, and Belle may be the key to a future war that threatens all of humanity.
