BIRDS OF A FEATHER
In trying to earn his gold wings, Jeremy, a young goldfinch, must find the courage to challenge the bird of prey that killed his father.
But Jeremy keeps getting into trouble. One day, he and Spike, a fun-loving bluejay, wander off and are attacked by Falco, a bird of prey that killed Jeremy's father. Colonel Redwing and his Redwing Squadron rescue Jeremy and Spike but suffer a casualty in the process.
After the funeral, Hope shows Jeremy one of his father's glowing gold feathers, pleading with him once more to be more like him.
One winter day, hungry birds are feeding on some scattered seeds when Falco attacks them. Like his father, Jeremy heroically lures Falco away from his friends, thus beginning a deadly chase.
