A ROSE BY THE DOOR

A God fearing woman finds herself burned out by hurtful tragedies in her life. By trying to hide secrets from the past, she comes to the place where faith seems gone. But she overlooks, that old wounds must be touched and tended before they could be healed for good. A ROSE BY THE DOOR is an adaptation of Deborah Bedford's inspirational novel with the same title.

BEA BARTLING'S home is known for the yellow rose bush that had been a famous trail-marker for wagons on their way West. Bea used to have open doors for visitors and prayers filled with hope, that she would see special faces among them. Until she gets crushing news that her son, who ran away years ago has been killed. Overwhelmed by grief and bitterness as hard as steel, she has no welcome in her heart for the woman and child who soon show up at her door and no room for them in her life. Their arrival changes everything. Now, as old secrets are revealed, a lonely woman discovers her life's prayers answered, if she accepts a precious gift of grace and if she dares to believe in the miraculous power of love.
