Author Bio: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech and Drama, University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Directed and teched plays in small summer theaters around Lincoln and in Lodi Wisconsin. Wrote a few comedies for these venues.

For three years wrote weekly column for several Nebraska papers.

Wrote six feature screenplays and eight shorts, some with partner Linda Gray. Most of these are detailed on MovieBytes. The Journey Of Jefferson Lee and Hanging Out At The Leg Up are adapted from other works of mine. My large-scale feature Mr. Bixby's Cub is adapted from Mark Twain's story about becoming a river pilot.

I have attended two Lew Hunter workshops and we work with Craig Kellem as our writing coach. Linda and I scout the locations for our scripts while we are writing. I am attracted to films with on-screen musical performances as part of the action and Linda likes horses. We combined these interests in our first feature 4x4, which is a modern-day singing cowboy picture.

I'm currently outlining a script about my Dad as a youngster prior to enlisting in World War II. Linda is working on a couple projects of her own.
