Dangerous Twisted Mystery Podcast Contest

Objective

Do you have a mystery novel that introduces the listener to the dark side of the human condition? It should be somewhat depraved, but never contemptible. We like our listeners to enjoy a twisting ride into the abyss, while not crushing their dreams for a greater good. If you have that, we want to hear it. Submit your application (free) by November 7th to be considered for the next run. The winner will be published on the podcast starting February 2023.

Eligibility

Anyone with a completed mystery audio book

Rules

We are looking for audio books that walk the line between torment and contempt. Tantalizing and torturous. Desire and degradation. Literally, we could do this all day, but we'll stop. If you feel like your mystery novel goes to the edge without plunging over into infamy, please let us have a look.

• All submissions are free.
• Please submit only one application per author.
• All projects should be novel length (60K words to 150K words)

First: Know that every submission will be considered, but there will be no feedback offered. The final five podcast finalists will receive notes that are meant to help them before the final choice is made. Second: We are new to the podcasting world. We are not in the position to make anybody rich, yet. The doors are open to novels that have been self-published and those that want a wider audience. Everybody is welcome. Third: If none of that scares you away, please submit a synopsis of your project with cover art and around 30 MINUTES OF AUDIO CONTENT from the novel. It doesn't have to be the beginning. Make it something representative of the guiding principles of the Twisted Podcast. Do not submit the entire audio book. Awards

Top Five will receive "teaser" slots on the Dangerous Twisted Mystery podcast. Winner will be presented over 20-25 episode format over the next six months.
