iron shadows

?A newborn, son of an army colonel, is discharged from the hospital after three months in intensive care. The only hope for the boy lies with a bone marrow specialist in a remote, cold city in western Iran. The colonel, with his wife and child, travels in an army vehicle to the city, planning to stay at the military guesthouse during treatment. Upon arrival, they find the guesthouse locked because the assigned soldier, protected by his uncle—the corrupt commander of the guesthouse—has left. Another soldier, overworked and medicated, is forced to take the shift, falls asleep in the freezing night, and the colonel’s son dies. The soldier is later tried in a military court and sentenced to execution.
