Sherry is service oriented with a desire to create deep cultural changes worldwide by demonstrating positive stories to entertain and enhance the quality of life in a struggling world.

Savage’s Appalachian heritage enriched her with a culture of truthful and fictional storytelling... it’s instilled in her blood. She’s an award-winning screenwriter and a twenty-five-year educator, counselor, and entrepreneur. As early as middle school, she won an all-state writing contest and since then dreamed of writing stories that inspire, entertain, and influence. Throughout her career, she served many by being their voice as an educator, advocate, and spokesperson for at-risk populations and women. Due to creating innovative programs to improve the quality of life for children, families, and the elderly, Ms. Savage was awarded several local, state, and national recognitions. She served on the council to create the School for Creative and Performing Arts then assisted with curriculum and facility design. While working with high school students, she trained them in journalism and broadcasting. Her profession called on her to create high-end marketing campaigns, Public Service Announcements, film commercials, video training programs and become an avid speaker. She gained a wealth of experience in fundraising and budgeting. After an eclectic career including, counseling, advocacy and founding a nonprofit to uplift women and children at risk, ten years ago, Sherry decided it was time to live her dream and write stories that derived from personal experiences, included faith and forgiveness, celebrated underdogs, heroines, and ensured love conquered all. Sherry continues her education beyond her Bachelor of Science and Graduate School work in Communications as she hones her skill by utilizing consultants, taking courses on screenwriting, entering contests and reading and writing scripts consistently. Writing is her full-time endeavor.
