“Morgan” By Mark Mc Quown

Synopsis

Morgan is a gifted, sixteen-year-old High School Student, with powers beyond any normal human being. Morgan is a Witch and has a blood-line that leads back to Morgan le Fay in King Arthur’s time period, the 6th Century AD. Her parents, Michael and Cathy, are aware of her power but do not speak of it as a matter of course. Michael is a trained Air Force pilot and belongs to a Reserve Unit in their town.

Morgan lives in a world that walks along the fence between present day and the world of magic that surrounds present day in an umbrella of invisibility. She belongs to an Order with strict rules which include being whipped for breaking many of the laws of the Wiccan Order. Morgan is directly related to Morgause, sister of Morgan le Fay and the wife of King Lot of Orkney, as well as the mother of Gareth, Agravaine, and Gaheris. Morgan le Fay, Arthur and Morgause share Igraine as their mother and Uther Pendragon as their father.

Morgan lives in the present time period and she witnesses the horrors of ISIS and ISIL and the other, fanatical, inhuman terrorists’ organizations which constitute the new Evil in this world and she is their direct enemy. She has a normal life in all other things and attends the local High School where she meets the most popular guy on campus, Nero, the football player and heart throb of every girl in school, including Cassandra.

Cassandra is also a Witch except she is not related to the powers from King Arthur’s time, she is directly related and is a Servant of Evil, trying to twist the events of her day toward the powers of darkness and the ultimate rule of Dark Power. She is Nero’s girl-friend until Nero wakes up one day in class and realizes he is looking at Morgan.

Morgan becomes intimately involved in the battle of Syria and the launching of ICB Missiles from North Korea. The power of Kim Jong Un in North Korea and the power of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, are the present-day representation of the power of darkness and their dark lord, Dark Matter. Morgan becomes entangled in both fronts when her father’s Reserve Unit is called up to fight in Syria.

Morgan crosses over to the world of Magic and finds her sister Morgause who brings Morgan back to the 6th Century on a Battle Field covered in blood and gore and the two sisters fight valiantly to kill the Dark Power in a period, fifteen hundred years before the present. This battle draws Nero across the lines of Magic and introduces him to the real live Witch, Cassandra who is there to cut off his head.

In this Fantasy/Action/Adventure, Morgan pulls the magical powers of the past, into the present to partially defeat an ISIS force attempting to kill her father on the Syrian plane and this power stops the final test in North Korea which would have started a World War. This is a moving magical story which shows that the power of Good, the power of Love, are still the strongest forces on Earth as they preserve our present liberties and our freedom to live happy in a free land under the grace of God.
