TRANSYLVANIA AIR FLIGHT 1313

A cop transporting a thief back to Europe gets more than he bargained for when, once airborne and under a full moon, the prisoner changes into a werewolf, beginning a horrifying rampage at 30,000 feet.

When NYPD Detective Jimmy Larsen apprehends the paranoid Jeremiah Wolfzangel, fleeing a brutal murder scene, he thinks he's just busted a warped serial killer responsible for a string of recent homicides. But a nefarious Interpol agent intervenes, claiming Wolfzangel is just a thief, not a killer, albeit one who's masterminded a series of high-end museum heists. Extradition is arranged, back to Romania, where some of the most prominent families in Europe are still reeling from his actions, their priceless treasures missing.

Jimmy is none too pleased and insists on transporting the suspect back to Europe himself. He's accompanied by Professor Franz Lovecraft and his beautiful daughter, Rebecca. The latter is a forensic psychiatrist, the former, a noted scholar on the ancient artifacts that Wolfzangel has allegedly pilfered and hidden away. Rebecca hopes to cure Wolfzangel of his "night terrors" and in the process help to recover the stolen loot.

But this is no ordinary prisoner... as they reach the midway point in their trip, halfway over the Atlantic, under the brilliant beams of a full moon, a startling transformation begins... A sickly Wolfzangel begins to change, right before their very stunned eyes. Bones writhe under skin, shifting into place, a face contorts into a snarling mask as hair rapidly grows over it... Fangs are bared from his mouth... fingers curl back as claws explode forward. All the while, a suit of dark fur unveils all around him, concluding with a prominent gray mane about his head. Jimmy is now face to face with... A real life, honest to goodness werewolf.

Pandemonium ensues in the cramped space, cabin fever of a different nature entirely, as Wolfzangel begins a horrifying rampage. It's an unrelenting, blood-thirsty mauling that is unleashed on the harried travelers... And there's nowhere to go! An over matched Jimmy scrambles to the aid of Rebecca and her father, while the Air Marshal, Klaus Kingery, quickly reveals himself to be much more than meets the eye. It's Kingery who leads the counter-offensive amidst the chaos, launching an array of silver nitrate darts from a special gun he had at the ready. But the weapon has little effect, and, as Wolfzangel continues his vicious attack, they are all backed up toward the flight deck, cornered near the cockpit. In their darkest hour, with the snarling monster approaching, Lovecraft reveals the existence of a talisman in his possession, one that may just reverse the wolf-man's condition.

But, alas, it's in his checked suitcase, in the cargo hold, two levels down.

As Kingery bravely guards the cockpit against Wolfzangel, Jimmy must lead a daring mission to retrieve the supposedly magical amulet. But when they get past a panicked mob of passengers, not to mention a newly transformed pack of "Wolflings" spawned from them, little do they know an even greater threat awaits them below deck... Markus, a mysterious coach passenger, has pried his way into a coffin in storage with the hope of reviving an ancient vampire chieftain. Caught in between a centuries old feud, Jimmy may have to choose between the lesser of two evils if he's to save the desperate passengers of...

"Quality of Writing: excellent, Plot: excellent, Cinematic Quality: very good... this one ranks up there with some of my favorites. First of all, you have a KILLER title, logline and overall concept. I immediately knew I had to read it... What I love the most about your writing is that I know from page one I'm going to enjoy the read... I'm digging that we don't know who the "bad guy" is.
