Echoes of the Zodiac

Decades after the Zodiac's reign of terror, a cunning copycat emerges, forcing FBI Special Agent Jeannie Loomis into a high-stakes investigation where every move is a step closer to becoming the killer’s next target.

Decades after the terror of the original Zodiac killer shook the Bay Area, a cunning copycat emerges, reigniting fear across San Francisco. FBI Special Agent Jeannie Loomis, now head of the San Francisco bureau, is called in to lead the high-stakes investigation. Loomis, a seasoned investigator with a personal history of pursuing notorious criminals, finds herself drawn into a psychological cat-and-mouse game as the new killer mirrors the gruesome methods of the original Zodiac, but with a chilling modern twist—taunting the authorities through encrypted emails.

As bodies start piling up, each murder eerily mimicking the Zodiac's historical slayings, Jeannie and her team, including trusted colleague Ismail Flores, must race against time to crack the killer's codes and stop him before he claims his next victim. But the copycat is always one step ahead, exploiting the city's paranoia and leaving cryptic clues that hit too close to home.

In a thrilling twist, Jeannie realizes the killer's connection to a long-dormant cold case—Dylan Summers, the son of one of the Zodiac’s original victims, seeking twisted justice for his father’s unsolved murder. With each move, Dylan pushes Jeannie further into his deranged world, targeting her as his ultimate prize.

As the case unravels, Jeannie confronts not only the killer but the emotional scars left by her past. She must outthink a predator obsessed with completing the Zodiac's unfinished business while confronting her complicated feelings for Sean Delaney, a former love with a dangerous secret.

In the final confrontation, Jeannie and Ismail must stop Dylan before he recreates the most infamous unsolved crime of all—claiming Jeannie as his final victim in the Zodiac's deadly legacy.
