Synopsis

Some people are born with the desire to help others. One example is the main character, Jeff. As a widower traveling nurse he’s upbeat and willing to problem solve with impressive skill levels. On assignment in a small town he meets Macky, a bitter single mother who’s rather blunt. They develop a friendship which expands by her kindly opening up her home to him and with him assisting with projects around the house. Not all contributing is positive. With Macky’s difficult teenage daughter some input is welcomed but some cross a line without discussing it with her. With a local couple’s business struggling Jeff recruits a band of friends to perform with the idea of drawing in customers. At first the response was minimal so Jeff got creative to increase the attendance with even Macky participating. As their time together increased Jeff and Macky’s relationship grew romantically. With the contract of the band and Jeff in the town ending soon questions arose what to do. Jeff and Macky worked together for an impressive finale with the band. But their future path wasn’t as easy to address. They weren’t looking for a relationship and are not sure if they should take another chance. But these two are due for some happiness for themselves.
