Anne Bonny is the most illustrious female pirate from the Golden Age of Piracy. Her life is legendary, but no one agrees on the details of her story -- not even her death. Yet, the story that she tells is the tale of swashbuckling pirate, Anne Bonny, who sailed the Caribbean more than sixty years before. Anne Bonny gained eternal fame when she was sentenced to death but reprieved when she "pleads her belly" (her pregnancy), and disappears from recorded history. Are these the ravings of a senile old lady or the true story of the most famous female pirate from out of the Golden Age of Piracy?
