Presidential Peril

A Presidential Candidate is thrust into the fight of his life against a maniacal militia after a failed assassination attempt on his life just days before the Presidential election.

In the near future, gun violence in America is at an unprecedented level. A polarizing anti-gun advocate, Michael Fisch, a loving, caring, devoted family man and father of 2 lovely daughters, has seen his popularity sore in the polls as a Presidential candidate. Michael himself, has dealt with the grieving one faces when losing a loved one at the hands of a gun. Michael uses this to fuel his passion and that passion turns into a pandemic across America as Americans want change and desire to see Michael Fisch become the next President. Michael Fisch’s passion and charisma help him surge in the election polls as election day draws closer. However, the fear of sweeping gun reform across America with a new White House and a changing of the guard doesn’t sit well with all Americans. A neurotic and heavily armed rogue militia group decide to take matters into their own hands, as they fear no other alternative than to plot to assassinate the Presidential hopeful. The rogue militia are led by a towering man named John Duncan, a former military man himself and a patriot for the country. John’s equally passionate about his country and is alarmed in the country’s supposed direction with a new leader on the horizon. John’s fellow militia are devout and loyal to their cause and all will stop at nothing to ensure their way of life is not compromised. Along the way, Mrs. Fisch, a pro gun supporter up until now, has succumbed to the rigors of a Presidential campaign. Their marriage is on the brink of exploding, when the family’s youngest daughter is accidentally shot in a Halloween night mishap in their own front yard. Denise Fisch can no longer support her husband’s Presidency without the fear of putting the entire family at risk. Denise Fisch, terrified for her children’s safety and confused as to what her beliefs are, decides to leave her husband, just days before the election. A wife who is finished and a daughter in the hospital, a distraught Michael Fisch gives one last emphatic pro gun speech and is finishing up the campaign when the rogue militia attempt the assassination of the Presidential hopeful. Michael Fisch survives the initial attack, but is left wounded and alone and in the dark, wet, forests of the Pacific NW. An unarmed Michael Fisch resorts to childhood experiences in order to outwit and outfox the militia time and time again. As the Militia’s relentless pursuit knows no end, Michael tackles each new obstacle along the way with cunning skill and perhaps a little luck. By the end, Michael must battle his own demons, as well as the militia’s sinister leader John Duncan in the final climatic ending, or face the risk of losing not only the Presidential election, but his family as well.
