Harm for the Holidays
After his brother attempts suicide a few weeks before Christmas, an unrepentant asshole with a heart of gold moves back in with his comically dysfunctional family to help his brother, only to discover that his brother is the sanest of them all (SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK meets LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE--#1 ranked Comedy and GLBT script on MovieBytes).
A Buffalo, NY native, LaPoma’s creative voice was forged during a prolific decade of profound isolation where he translated internal struggle into a massive catalog of songs, scripts, and novels. This period earned him significant industry validation, including his black comedy screenplay, HARM FOR THE HOLIDAYS, which was optioned by legendary producer WARREN ZIDE (American Pie, Final Destination) and Wexlfish Pictures.
