The 12th Annual CAPE New Writers Awards, sponsored by NBC Universal with the support of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Hawaii International Film Festival, and Final Draft, will officially begin accepting submissions on Monday, February 27, 2012. Submission categories include Features, Television Writing, and Hawaii.
Writers interested in the Hawaii category must originally be from Hawaii, currently live in Hawaii, or set their original screenplay/teleplay in Hawaii. See website: for more details.
For over a decade, the CAPE New Writers Awards has been dedicated to discovering and nurturing Asian American and Pacific Islander voices and talents. This unique program has helped launch the careers of numerous writers.
