Movie Script Contest Winner Secures Agency Representation and Writing Assignment
John Arends, 1st place winner of the 2007 Movie Script Contest International Screenwriting Awards has just secured representation with Hollywood agent, Barry Perelman. John's winning script, SOLOMON'S WHALE, is a high seas adventure in the grand Hollywood tradition. Barry Perelman discovered John's script through the marketing efforts of Movie Script Contest on behalf of the winners and was impressed with the concept and writing.
In addition, John has recently secured a notable writing assignment to rewrite a Sci-Fi script in collaboration with a pair of Movie Script Contest affiliated producers.
