Five UCLA students have been chosen as finalists in the 2008 Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards Competition:
Suzie Bohannon for "Spin Cycle"
Austin Formato, "Self Help"
J.J. Nelson, "Out of Road"
Robyn Paris, "Odd Man Out"
Richard Rapoza, "The Hole in the Brain of Phineas Gage."
The finalists were chosen from among 120 submissions from students at eight University of California campuses.
