2008 PAGE Award Winners Announced
The winners of the fifth annual PAGE International Screenwriting Awards competition have now been announced, and the judges have awarded this year's $10,000 Grand Prize to Mike Amato of Franklin, Massachusetts for his stunning drama/thriller HONOR BOUND. Logline: Rape victim Rana Samwar is hiding. From her own family. Tonight they will travel 6,000 miles to murder her, and her only hope is a racist FBI Agent about to lose his job. Honor Killings have come to America.
The judges have also presented Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prizes in ten different genre categories. The complete list of winners is as follows:
