L.A. Comedy Scripts Announces Finalists
The L.A. Comedy Scripts Screenplay Competition has announced their finalists from among 600 entries:
Comedy Feature Finalists
Mac The Knife by Jeff Coe
The Karate Kat by Kate Luhr and Eric Frost-Barnes
The Rock Thrower by Ted Farnath
Comedy Short Finalists
Breakfast by Robert Vitolo
Danny Caldwell Goes to Hell by Austin Sheeley
Phone It In by Armando Fente, Jr. and Robert Fente
All out-of-town Finalists will receive a trip to Los Angeles for the 2009 LA Comedy Film Festival, taking place March 5th-8th, including four nights (March 5th-8th) at the Kyoto Grand, the Official Festival Hotel, airfare to Los Angeles, plus $250 cash.
All finalists will be honored and one Grand Prize Winner out of the three Finalists in each category will be announced at the Closing Nights Awards Ceremony, taking place at Cinespace Hollywood on Sunday, March 8th.
