All we can say is "¡Diarrhea No Mas!"
Best Closing Scene:
MR.TNT, by Mike Boss, HDMovies@aol.com
Yo, Adrian! Very Rocky-esque, yet rises above being a Rocky rip-off or wannabe. It's compelling, heartwarming and packs a wallop to go the distance. (Ding, ding, ding. That ends this round of boxing clichés.)
Best Female Character Not Used As A Murder Prop Or Decoration On The Leading Man's Arm:
VOWS, by Thomas Bilyeu& Ron Jansen, info@tnpmail.com/emailtnp@gmail.com
Detective Mike Flint: yes, HER name really is Mike. Although she's a supporting character in this screenplay, she absolutely should be the lead character in her own TV crime dramedy. (If you're offended by "R" rated dialogue that is wonderfully irreverent and raunchy, skip the next two sentences.) When asked if Mike is more of a guy's name, she replies, "Yes, but I've got fantastic tits so I doubt you'll get confused. When asked why she's late, she tells her boss, "Tampons slow me down."
Best Love Scene:
MINE, by Anita Justice Skibski, askibski@yahoo.com
That's hot. (We hate using this annoying Paris Hilton phrase, but it's that hot.)
Best Detective/Best Bumbling Detective:
RENDER ME DEAD, by Greg Botherton, gregory.brotherton@gmail.com
Birdie and Ben, who never met a cocktail they didn't guzzle with gusto, are wonderfully reminiscent of Nick and Nora Charles, only their "Asta" is a "Patsy."
