Bewitching Hitler: The Coven that Beat the Nazis and Saved the Wolrd! (Historical Fiction/Dramedy/Romance - based on actual events.)

A plucky UK/New Forest Witch Coven conjures an ancient magic spell to prevent Hitler from winning World War II. (Based on documented events.)

GERALD, a male witch, owner of his town’s tea and herb shop, and quite the proper British patriot, learns the Nazis are massing for attack just across the English Channel. From his small seaside village, Gerald senses he must call his aging coven -- against the wishes of DOROTHY, its High Priestess Witch -- to conjure an ancient, little-used magic spell to protect England and stop Hitler. In the meantime SYBIL, a beautiful, young, lonely hedge witch in Gerald's employ, after a love spell is cast upon her, meets and falls in love with a “reporter”, STEPHEN – actually a Nazi spy charged with kidnapping and repatriating Sybil to Germany. She is thought to be a distant relative of the superstitious Heinrich Himmler of the vaunted Nazi High Command. The story swirls around such issues and complications, during a time when curiosity in the occult was high throughout Europe.

The tale's central emotional thrust is poignancy, revealing how a small coven of unusually odd folks, despite the ravages of age, still wished to "do their part", and selflessly give the only thing they could -- a magic spell -- to help a great nation in their most desperate hour.

History has shown that the Nazis, for some still puzzling reason, halted all forward progress at Dunkirk, where an early victory there may have changed the war's eventual outcome! Experts, to this day, offer no consensus as to why the Nazi’s stopped their advance.

Did the “Cone of Power” work? It's for the audience to judge. The magical efforts of the New Forest Coven Witches remained hidden until the repeal of England's medieval Witchcraft Act in 1951. This story, while fictionalized, but historically documented, remains cinematically untold and, for the most part, unknown.
