One More Day

A salesman sends a text message to God flippantly when he’s out for drinks with a co-worker, asking for an extra day that week to get ahead in a sales competition, he gets it, but he discovers that he’s cursed with an extra day every week until he learns how to treat people.

Craig Neary can't be torn away from his Smart Phone, he loves muscle cars and hates his co-worker, Charles Castaneda. His boss launches a sales competition at the car dealership and Craig types a message to who/what he's decided is his Higher Power, The Mighty Electron, asking for an extra day to get ahead of Castaneda in the competition. He gets it but he's seemingly alone in the universe of this time warp, making it really hard to sell anyone cars. His journey of one more day each week leads him to fall in love with Nora,a carbon emissions lobbyist, avid biker and fellow dog lover; make serious and genuine amends to Helena, his co-worker he uses for booty calls; truly learn empathy which finally releases him from what's quickly becoming a curse with this extra day, gifting it to his enemy and now his friend, Castaneda, who's dying from lung cancer and needs more time with his young family.
