Script Magazine Announces Open Door Contest Winners

scr(i)pt Magazine's quarterly screenplay competition, Open Door Contest, is proud to announce its top 35and top 10 semifinalists. Overall, the first of scr(i)pt's four contests attracted just under 425 screenplays, every one deserving of recognition and credit, but unfortunately, the entire lot could not win and so, the following entrants deserve special attention.

Congratulations to Greg Kaufmann. Mr. Kaufmann and his screenplay, Rooster, have won First Place inScr(i)pt Magazine's Open Door Contest, sponsored by Lasher, McManus Robinson, and Kipperman and The Complete Screenplay.

Congratulations to Bill Flannigan. Mr. Flannigan's screenplay China Hand has been selected as the Second Place Winner.

Congratulations to Clive Young. Mr. Young's screenplay, Worst Case Scenario, has been selected as the Third Place Winner.

The winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize as well as script notes, and consideration for representation by manager Elizabeth Robinson of Lasher, McManus, Robinson and Kipperman.
